PAX AMERICANA SPRING 2026 "HUMAN[E]" - CALL FOR PAPERS
Pax Americana Team welcomes submissions that interpret the theme: “human[e]” for the 2025-2026 academic year spring issue. Works that meaningfully resonate with the concept of “human[e]” creatively, critically, or experimentally will be considered for this issue.
It may include questions of humanity, human experience, everyday life, identity, and the social, political, and emotional dimensions of being human. However, if you can further interpret the theme as something else, we will appreciate your work as well. We accept creative works (poetry, flash fiction, short stories, nonfiction), academic and critical essays, and visual artworks.
• There is no minimum word count. The maximum word count is 4,000 words.
• Submissions must be sent as .doc or .docx.
• Submissions are accepted in MLA format: Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, and include a Works Cited page where applicable.
• You should name your file as AuthorName_Title_Genre.
• 100-200-word abstracts are preferred for your essays; if not provided, please do give brief information about your work.
