    The Past is Empty      I stepped inside with little hesitation. The door shut behind me and I was sealed inside. I expected much more from such an invention; It looked like nothing more than an elevator. The window on the door was a neat addition though; I could see the dread spread across the faces on the outside. Such an emotion couldn’t be caught inhabiting my face though.
