SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All submissions must be original and not previously published. Simultaneous submissions are
welcomed; however, you must notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. All
submissions must be written in English. AI use is permitted for language revision and must
be declared other AI-generated or AI-assisted works are prohibited. If detected, the submission
will be rejected, and no future submission from the contributor will be considered. You may
submit additional images you wish to be considered for page design. However, the design
team prioritizes the overall visual and conceptual integrity of the journal, and submitted visuals
may not be used if deemed incompatible with our design.
• There is no minimum word count. The maximum word count is 4.000 words.
• Submissions must be sent as .doc or .docx (please don’t send it as a .pdf document).
• Submissions are accepted in MLA format: Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-
spaced, and include a Works Cited page where applicable.
• You should name your file as AuthorName_Title_Genre.
You are expected to revise and proofread your work carefully before submission. The
editorial team reserves the right to make minor editorial changes when necessary.
Visual works must be submitted in high-resolution digital format; an artist statement is optional.
If you have a title for your work, please let us know.
All submissions must be sent to paxamericana.ake@gmail.com. While the editorial team aims
to respond as soon as possible, you can expect a decision within approximately three weeks
after the submission deadline.
