Driven by the sense of discovery brought about by thresholds, writers and artists have created a wealth of work from diverse perspectives and art forms, choosing to share it through our magazine. We are delighted and proud to bring these contributions to you and to announce our most comprehensive and exiting issue to date. We are delighted with the path our exploration of selfhood, aligned with these thresholds, has taken us on. Hello to all! We recently received some questions about the theme we've chosen for this issue of our magazine, and we wanted to answer them and any other questions you might have. As you can understand, "threshold" as a theme can encompass many things. After all, one of the main factors that attracted us to this theme was the diversity of this concept and its openness to interpretation. Of course, we understand the confusion that arises from this situation. But to explain briefly, our sensitivity to this topic will be based entirely on what you envision as a writer or artist. If the theme resonates with you, and you have expressed it in your work in any way, our editors will be happy to review your work. As Pax Americana , we're honored to introduce you to our newest concept: Mini Americana ! Mini Americana differs from our spring and fall issues. As we feature student submissions (fiction or non-fiction) from our department, we take submissions from other departments as well. We aim to explore diverse themes and interests in these mini-issues, supported by artworks and photography. Our first Mini Americana , The Beach Edition , is a collection of our writers' and artist' explorations of the evocative and emotional experiences of summer.
